DeepSeek: deepseek-v4-flash and older Flash names now point to V4.1-Flash-1017 (price comparison not meaningful)
DeepSeek's changelog says deepseek-v4-flash and deepseek-v4-flash-vision-exp are routed to DeepSeek V4.1 Flash (10 Sep 2026), and that deepseek-flash was upgraded in place to DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash-1017 (17 Oct 2026) with API pricing unchanged. So the older Flash names (deepseek-v4-flash, deepseek-v4-flash-0731, v4-flash-latest, flash-latest, deepseek-v4.1-flash) now resolve to the same model, and the large OpenRouter price swings recorded for them are routing noise, not real price changes.
